Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen is a Sámi artist, songwriter and activist from Tana in Finnmark. She has spent many years working for an environmental organisation for youth called Natur og Ungdom. To her the most important subject is to protest against the oil industry in Norway, because of climate change. Ella has also promised to participate in civil disobedient demonstrations against a mining-projects in Kvalsund in Finnmark. This mine will threaten both the local reindeer herding and the ecosystem in Repparfjord. In 2018 Ella Marie won the Norwegian singing competition "Stjernekamp" and therefor left Natur og Ungdom to become a full-time musician. The last year she has toured all over Norway with her band ISÁK, but she still uses her plattform to spread awareness about climate change and pollution. Recently she became an ocean-ambassador for Greenpeace.
